Wednesday, January 27, 2016 1:30 – 3:00 (Note new time for this date) Formed following the mass shooting of first graders and staff in Newtown, Colorado Faith Communities United to End Gun Violence (CFCU), a multi-faith coalition, has now grown to 27 congregations, including members in Boulder and Summit County. Motivated by the belief that "While we continue to pray for the families and friends of those who have perished, we must also support our prayers with action.” CFCU is dedicated to just one thing—working to reduce gun deaths and injuries in Colorado through advocacy, action and awareness strategies which include the legislative process and tackling gun violence as a public heath epidemic.
